The City prepares environmental documents for projects in accordance
with the California Environmental Qualtiy Act (CEQA). The City sends
out public notices of the availability of draft documents only to a select group
(La Jolla Community Planning Association, La Jolla Town Council, La Jolla
Historical Society, La Jolla Shores Association, La Jolla Library, La Jolla
Light) and to individuals that specifically request they be sent a notice.
Provided below is a list from the City's website of the documents which are
currently available for review. Typically this list will ONLY include those documents
that are in the public comment period; that is, 45 days for environmental
impact reports and 21 days for mitigated negative declarations.
If you want to be notified of the availability of an environmental document,
contact the city project manager. You can find their contact information on the Notice
of Application mailed out when the project was first submitted to the city.
If you are curious, see below. If you need to download notices or documents, then please go to
Current CEQA Notices & Documents in La Jolla.
